Renovation/Construction Projects

Renovation Projects-Around the Resort: 

• Beginning in mid-April, upgrading internet and television services . Intermittent Wi‑Fi and cable service disruptions to occur during this time. Thank you for your patience as we complete these improvements. 
• Hot tub Spring Maintenance- -date & times will be noted at front desk

Travel Info

Travel Information: 

• There are no gas stations in Sun Peaks.  The closest is in Heffley Creek 35.5 Kilometers (21.5 miles) from the resort.
• Please check the Sun Peaks Resort website to stay updated on the latest snow reports — the snow-report page can be found here

From October 1 – May 1, vehicles must be prepared with either snow tires and/or snow chains. Please be aware that there are no gas stations nor gasoline available in Sun Peaks.  The closest gas station is at Hefley Creek, approximately 32 km (20 miles) downhill from the resort.

LATE ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:-call 250 578 7136 for access code to Reception BLDG 1. -your wristband keys and stay info will be on front desk.

SECURED PROPERTY:This is a LOCKED Timeshare Property and is NOT open to the General Public. *Lodge is monitored by surveillance cameras for guest safety  

ELEVATORS:There are NO elevators on site. 

UNIT LOCATIONS:

Building 1:Rooms 11-20 (3occ only)

Building 2:Rooms 1-10 (2occ,3occ,4occ*)

*4occ recommended for 2 adults/2 small children* 

SKI/BIKE STORAGE:

GARAGE 3 Located between Building 1 & 2

PERSONAL LOCKS may be used at your own risk 

SHARED AMENITIES:We kindly ask all guests respectfully clean up immediately after use so all may enjoy the space.

Cooking Appliances available: BBQ, microwave, skillets, freezers, air fryer, dishware & utensils.

Complimentary Grab & Go Fruit & Muffins: *Served in Dining Hall Building 1 only* 8:15am-11am daily. 

Fees/Taxes

Deposit:

Credit Card Authorization

Owners $100 CAD

Renters $250 CAD.

No cash accepted.

Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.

Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.

No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts. 

No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking is not allowed in rooms, decks, lanais or patios.

Late check-out policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.

All payments taken at VI Resorts in Canada are processed in Canadian currency. 

Charges on site at check in include:

-damage deposit

-applicable room taxes

Key replacement fee: $2.00 

Parking Info: Garage parking is available for CAD $20/day+taxes

Taxes: 

All reservations made for travel to VI Resorts in Canada will be charged Canada’s (PST/GST) tax, including MDRT tax of 3%.
